About
A big page of radical transparency about myself to attract more of what I want into my life and deter what I don’t.
Someday this site will be all that’s left of me, so it doubles as a mini autobiography.

Timeline for context
- 2003: Born in Queensland, Australia.
- 2004: Grew up on a cattle station in outback Australia, 3x the size of Manhattan.
- 2010: Taught myself most of primary school remotely.
- 2012: Competed in horse riding throughout my childhood, one could say semi-professionally.
- 2013: Did a range of childhood ventures: growing and selling plants and Christmas trees, arbitraging Lego between Facebook and eBay, beekeeping, dingo trapping, flipping non-ferrous metals from old farm equipment, etc. (we had a terrible internet connection and coding isn’t a thing people in the outback do).
- 2015: Moved to the Gold Coast, Queensland for boarding school.
- 2019: Thought a lot about what I wanted to do with my life, so did work experience as a veterinarian and accountant, while building businesses online.
- 2020: Graduated high school with the highest possible college entrance grade (top 0.05% in Australia).
- 2021: Moved to Brisbane to study advanced finance and economics at the University of Queensland. Stumbled into my first startup job as personal assistant to a YC founder at 17, then lucked into a product role at BCG at 18.
- 2022: Studied in London for the summer, won a scholarship to study at NUS in Singapore, and hustled my way into special projects with the COO of probably Singapore’s most successful bootstrapped company.
- 2023: Moved to Sydney to study computer science at UNSW and learn sales at another startup.
- 2024: Dropped CS to go full-time on startups. Worked in product at Atlassian. Built a dating app that blew up at my college (4k revenue in its first 4 days), pulled an all-nighter to ship a volunteer marketplace for flood victims that went viral and got national news coverage, and a positive psychology tool used in 30 countries.
- 2025: Joined what was then Australia’s fastest growing company as 2nd product hire and apprenticed under the founder. Lived in rural Tanzania and built a patient management system for a maternity hospital.
- 2026: Finally graduated for visa purposes. Quit my job to build my own company with my friends and moved to the USA.
My North Star
I believe life is a series of experiences, and then you die.
Consciousness, the ability to experience, is a fleeting and rare opportunity in an otherwise chaotic, uncaring universe.
It would be a shame to waste that opportunity.
I’m also a believer in some but definitely not all of effective altruism.
Therefore, put mathematically: my life equals the sum of my own experiences from birth to death, times my contribution to improving the experiences of others.
The Economic Years
I moved to America in 2026 with two specific goals for this seven year cycle:
- Make a bag that gets me to my number, the point at which I consider myself financially free and post-economic.
- Find a wife.
The Post-Economic Years
Once I hit my number, life goals are:
- Become a world citizen based in Sydney, Australia (the best city on the planet).
- Finish visiting every country.
- Become a great dad.
- Build a bunch of SaaS companies differentiated by donating all profits to the world’s most effective charities. See Profitable for Good.
- Do cool shit. Experience max.
